"Hi, my name is Sandy, I am an appointed Civil Marriage Celebrant and a member of the Alliance of Celebrants QLD Inc. I have been a practicing celebrant since
2006.
I would love to help you with your ceremony. I will sit down and chat with you both to decide what type of ceremony will suit you as a couple.
It is not only my job, but also my pleasure to help you design the ceremony of your dreams.

lovers and as 'soul mates'.
My husband and I have been happily married for over twenty years now, we have two beautiful girls, and are blessed to have our home in secluded little Poona Bay
overlooking the Great Sandy Strait and Fraser Island.
I perform beach side ceremonies from Fraser Island to Rainbow Beach, even on the beach of Poona Bay. If you would like, you can marry on board a charter boat on the
Great Sandy Strait or in a park, or just in the garden at home. Wherever you choose, we will make it something to remember.

Fraser Island Handy Hints
If you want to get married on Fraser Island, it is a National Park so you need to have a 'Group Activity Permit' from EPA. Phone 1300 130 372. It will take 40 business
days to be approved, so get in early.
Do remember the beach on the east coast of the island is governed by the tide. If it is high tide you won't be able to drive on the beach, so work your wedding around
the tide. I am happy to drive to wherever your ceremony is, but remember that I am also governed by the tide.
It takes one hour to get from the west side to the east side of the island so you will have to take that into account if you are coming from River Heads.
It takes three hours to get from the bottom of the island (Hook Point) to the top of the island (Sandy Cape) on a good tide so you may have to think about that if you
are staying at Orchid Beach.
There are only convenience stores on the island so you will need to bring all of your hair and make-up products with you.
